hi there -- has anyone here ever installed stone siding around the bottom of a stucco house? i have installed flagstone patio and walkway (no mortar) with great results; the raw material was not that expensive and i turned out to be good at shaping the stones to fit. so is the process similar for installing flagstone or similar in a band around the bottom of a house? what is used as an adhesive between stones and stucco? would i have to use a special low-thickness grade of stone or can i use conventional flagstone? am i nuts to try this on my own?
