I need help. I would like to build windows for a shed I recently built. The windows will not need to be opened. I would like to use either plexiglass or regular glass with a six pane look. The shed currently has window openings that are fully trimmed at this point. I would like something that allows light in IS LOW COST, yet looks nice

One way would be to wood stop in a pane of either glass or plexiglass, use 1/2" pine for your grid (paint it first) and use more 1/2" pine around the perimeter as a spacer between the 2 panes, then wood stop in the second pane.
With the pine grid sandwiched between the 2 panes, you wouldn't have to worry about painting it again, or about it getting dirty. And, since this is a shed, thermal efficiency is not an issue.
