I have a 1985 Mitsubishi rear projection tv that needs adjusting (convergence) I don't have the manual on it, but I am familiar with the adjustments. Is there a special order in which to make these adjustments ? If so, where can I find helpful hints on them ?

Yes, there is a special sequence of adjustment on these units.
Since the adjustments seem to affect each other in some small (or large) way, the sequence has to be followed to minimize
adjustment time.
A source for providing that information would be Howard Sams
Publications and their famous Sams Photofacts. They give both repair and adjustment information with their packages. And, the prices are relatively inexpensive.

Of course, this is pretty old set and information may be hard to find. You could check with the manufacturer at
Mitsubishi 1-800-552-8324
They might be able to tell you if the service information is still
available for that series of set.
