Good Afternoon, Shawn:

My! Aren't you a fount of information!

One quick check! Pull the plug, let the set sit idle for a few minutes, and then plug it back in. Does the picture come on when you do this? It could be the X-Ray protector kicking in and causing the high voltage to shut down suddenly.
Of course, if the high voltage is running amok, the set will shut down again with no picture. I need to know this, too.

Might be nice to know how old the set is.

Remember, I am an old technician sitting here at my gorgeous 1.8 Gig Dell with the Sony flatscreen 19" monitor all the way out in
Tennessee. You can see the problem. I can't! But, I can see what you write on this lovely monitor and will do my best to answer your problem.

Come back!

Smokey ;)
