George, I just started making handmade writing pens and I have people that want them engraved. Do you know of anybody that makes a economical system to engrave names on them? Thanks for the help and all the help you have even me before. DeeAnna

DeAnna,

... I used to have a Hermes engraver for accurately engraving nameplates, and even cylindrical items like goblets and pens. I found my used, as most engraving and trophy shops have upgraded from the old manual operated machines, to the computerized models. I'd shop around and call some shops that have been around a good while, maybe they have one just collecting dust!! That's hoe i found mine, and it came with all the old brass letters and number, about 50 different tips, and even extra belts for the motor. In 1990 I paid 150 bux, in Texas area.
..Just a thought, it may be a long-shot, but may help in the long-run.

Thanks, Mark
