The bearing assembly on my circulation pump is randomly making some banging noises. My furnace guy tells me the bearing is going out of the unit. My question is when replacing the bearing assembly (Armstrong part# 816019-002), do I also need to replace the impellor and or can I just pull the bearing assembly off and put a new one on?
Thanks

is to look at old impeller compared to new impeller.I have learned on this forum that different parts of this country have alot of different types of water---if your water is heavily treated---the impeller MAY be worn and not recirc water properly.PDF

You have it apart - Why not replace the impeller & not worry about it any more.
