Got a Zenith PV5277H big screen tv with no picture. Sound comes on but no picture. Took the front panel off and it appears the picture tubes are fine. Took the back panel off and it appears all fuses are okay? Anyone wanna tell me what to try next? Any and all info is appreciated. It is a Zenith Telecouleur that was manufactured in 1989. Type 1259 120v 60hz and 170 watts. Thanks

There are a few things that will cause this problem. Usually it will be one of three things:
a) a failure of the high voltage supply
b) a failure of the blanking amplifier
c) a failure of the video processor
All will cause a no picture condition. If the tubes appear to be lit up (you can look into the face and tell they are running by the light they display) then the problem is most likely blanking or video processor.
The only thing I can tell you is let a technician evaluate the situation to determine the actual cause of the failure.
Get estimates for the repair and make a decision to repair or replace.
