Since I'm in Florida and it's humid here I should be getting a ton of water drainoff from me central AC unit. I don't seem to be getting much more than a trickle and I'm concerned that there's a leak somewhere in the line. The line goes from the unit in the garage, behind the wall between the garage and the kitchen and out to the front of the house behind some bushes. I don't see any damage from either the garage side or the kitchen but I'm afraid it might be building up somewhere.
Any suggestions for how to get to the drain? Do I take off the front of the unit? Then what? Will pouring bleach or something through the drain clear it? I'd like to try something before calling in a professional.
Thanks for any help.

The condensate you get out of your drain is determined by the amount of humidity inside the home. therefore if it is very humid outside and it's very comfortable inside the home, meaning to say that there is very little humidity inside the home, very little will condensate will come out the drain. If there is blockage of the drain pipe, all you have to do is trace the drain pipe backwards all the way to the air handler and you'll find a pool of water.
