My Bryant Heating/Cooling Unit seems to have developed a problem. The thermostat seems to be working properly and when set to heat the unit kicks on but does not turn the heat or the blower on. It has worked sporadically over the last week and now does not want to turn on period. When it is on, it runs constantly and doesn't want to shut off. What gives? Thanks!

The unit is a Bryant, Model # 588ANW024060ACAD. After removing the access panel and resetting the unit, The right burner will ignite but not stay lit. Should both burners ignite on startup? It will cycle and keep trying but will not light and eventually lockout. I suspect it may be the flame sensor but I'm not sure. The unit is 6 years old. Looking forward to your reply. thanks!

Yes Both Burners should ignite, even with a bad flame sensor it shold run for a few seconds, you can try removing the flame sensor and cleaning it with some fine sandpaper, also check all the wiring connections,
good luck.
