I have a carrier a/c The suction side is frozen from the evaporator coil to the compressor with a big ball of ice on the suction side of compressor. any hints?

Lack of air flow. Plugged filter, closed vents, return air blocked by furniture, dirty/plugged evaporator coil and/or blower assembly. Check all the above before anything else.
