Good evening, steve1ph:
Someday I am going to ask you folks to explain your sign on names. Mine is Smokey! Guess what I do a lot while writing these answers?
Blown fuse! Well, something had to blow this fuse in the first place so let's suspect a circuit overload somewhere.
On these stereo units, the first place to look is in the final amplifier circuits. The manufacturers over rate the electronics, over drive everything, and a good Rock & Roll
CD will be enough to overtax the finals and cause them to self-destruct.
Whatever shorted out has burned out. Otherwise you would not have a working fuse.
Check the final amplfiers and I am betting you will find a bit of smoke and flame results as the amplifiers gave up their lives over some hard rock music.
If you get it fixed, try Country Music. It is more sedate and less harmful to solid state amplifiers.
