I have moisture stains and mildew on a bathroom ceiling. We are going to repaint and want to know what to do to deal with the problem before hand. Any suggestions? Thank you.

#1 Do you have a vent fan in the bathroom ? Is it working properly ? If not , get this first or you will have repeated problems .
#2 You will need to wash the bathroom with a diluted bleach and water concoction ,rinse well with water .
#3 Zinzer(sp?) makes a mildew resistant primer for bathrooms . prime the walls with this and them paint .
