I recently painted a couple of the walls in the great room with a dark contrasting color. I mistakenly chose to use semi-gloss, and while happy with the color, the wife does not like the shine given off from room lighting or the occasional lap marks that I could not seem to eliminate.
Getting to the question, anyone have suggestions for fixing this without repainting with flat?
Any help is appreciated

Thanks mikejmerritt,
Any suggestions about what I could cover with? Also, if I end up covering with flat, will I need to prime or would sanding suffice?
