Hi,
I want to install a sliding 24" shower bar for a hand held shower. I have a standard bath tub. Has anyone installed one of these? I could use some tips - also if I install it several inches away from the main pipe line - is there a possibility I could hit another pipe? Thanks!

A shower usually will have just a single 1/2" pipe from the faucet up to the shower arm sticking out of the wall.
You should be able to install it without hitting it.
Good luck!
