Are there any plans out there for mounting 2 routers for tongue & grooving 1" (3/4") stock (local Pine)?
I plan to do both 4" (3 1/2") and 6" (5 1/2") width stock. The second router (or one of them) should be adjustable.
I'll be using 2 porter cable routers, a 3 1/4 HP for routing the tongue and a 1 1/2 HP for routing the groove. They will be mounted on a unifence extension table using 2 9"x12" router plates.
A quick response would be great!! Need to start our ceiling very soon. Thanks!!

pennywendy,
You're not saying you plan to run the stock between both the routers at the same time?? If there is a way to do it, Norm hasn't given us that secret yet.
For obvious safety reasons, I believe milling one side at a time is the best solution.

Would you really need 2 routers. Most of the bits I've seen are set up so al you have to do is do one operation to all of the pine and then change the same bit over and do the other side. Means you only have one set up to do.
