I would like to restore a butcher block table that was left out in the rain by the builders. I do not believe there is any way to bring the boards back together (the boards are now warped). I would like to find a non-toxic filler(?) and then sand it smooth. I also do not know what I should use as a sealer- what kind of oil? (mineral).
I know the table will be far from perfect but I just want it to be functional enough to knead and roll bread/pastries.
I thank you for your response,
