I am restoring an early 1920s round mohogany occasional table. It has a mohogany veneer lip that encircles the top of it that is badly chipped. I need to know what is the best way to repair the chips? There is also a bad cigarette burn in the middle of the top, that I need advise on repairing?

I am about to tear out celing tiles in a bedroom. We live in Ohio in a slab house with full attic. Do I need any additional vapor barrier for ceiling and walls, or is the combination of paper barrier (already on the insulation) and drywall adequate?
