I'm looking to install a Jacuzzi bath into our basement. It is a concrete floor. My question is how do I needbrace the bottom of the tub. I need it to be another 2 inches to get it up for the drain, but I didn't know if I need to build a solid wood base that lifts it up or if I can just use a frame of 2x4's to hold it?

Thanks,
Rick

The retailer of your Jacuzzi should be able to provide you with the specifics re: proper support of your tub. A tub full of water is a lot of weight, so you will want to make sure that you have adequate support for the tub when it is full of water and people. Go to http://www.jacuzzipremium.com. Click Manuals. Then click Predelivery Guide for details re: what needs to be done before the Jacuzzi is delivered.
