My home has a Carrier/Bryant natural gas heater with a inter mittent electronic pilot. I was unable to read model #. The pilot lights but there seems to be no gas getting the burners. The control gets the gas to pilot, contorl moderl # 646A. I am not sure about this pin# for the piolt, but it may help. Pin # 301278750. i have found a product #35-c36100AAEA. I can not find a thermal couple on this unit. Can you give me help!?

There is no thermocouple.

The pilot flame should envelope a nondescript wire or metal rod about 1\4 inch from the pilot assembly and make the tip of the rod to be red hot. This rod can sometimes be dirty or corroded. Clean it with fine sand cloth and see if that solves your problem.

The circuit board detects a flame by sending a signal from the pilot assembly, across the gap to the sensing rod. If a flame is present the signal will be rectified (converted to a direct current (DC) waveform. A loose connection in this circuit from board to pilot to ground can also cause this failure. The furnace safety grounding wire (this wire is either bare or green in color) must also be secure and functional.

If the wiring has been altered in any way, the polarity may be incorrect and causing the board to behave badly. Lastly the board may be defective.
