Yes I have a Carrier Heat Pump and the A/C has quit cooling. The unit is about 10 years old and never had a problem with it before. I was just like to know if anyone has any idea on what the problem might be.The outside unit is running and it is not frozen up anywhere. I keep the filter changed often.
What should I look for in a service provider and should I ask any ?? or anything else? Thanks for any help Steve

1) Ask your friends and family about their recommendations.
2) Try the Better Business Bureau to weed out the really bad ones (based on complaint history).
3) Look for clean uniforms and clean well cared for trucks. If they don't care about what they own and how they look, you can expect them to not care that much about your home either.
4) Ask them what you can expect for your money and if they guarantee satisfaction IN WRITING.
