When we moved into our house last year the inspectors said the compressor for the C/A was shot, but the fan and the heat worked. After the first sign of warm weather, we turned the heat off on the central unit. About a week later, cold weather hit us again, but when we turned the heat on, it didn't work. The fan will not blow and the heating unit will not kick on. Please help! I would rather do-it-myself than call someone. I'm a quick learner, but you must explain completely for me to follow...please help! Thank you
