My wife and I recently decide to purchase an automatic thermostat. Well due to my putting off installing it my wife decided to do it herself. Now I've got an A/C that works but, no heat. Instead of labeling the wires she took r,y,b,w1,w2 to be colors and matched them that way. I've got a blue, red, green and white wires and no clue exactly where they go. Can someone please help!

She was close... Most likely this is how it should go

green wire to "G"
white wire to "W"
blue wire to "Y"
red wir to "R"...if the new TSAT has "RC" or "RH" or both, you need to put a jumper wire between them.

***Be careful to use "R" not "B" sometimes it hard to tell them apart.

GOOD LUCK!
