First a little background. Want to attach handrails to existing two concrete steps from patio to porch for aging in-laws. Want to use wood for my ease of construction. They had ornamental metal railings which long ago worked loose from concrete porch and patio. Any suggestions on how to attach to poured concrete step sides?
Second choice would be to build two steps to "place" over existing steps. "How to" advice on making two step stringers would be GREATLY appreciated.
Thanks as always for assistance. This has been a very helpful site in the past. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK PEOPLE!

Hello
With only s steps you should be able to drill intop the oncrete and bolt posts to steps and porch. there are many ways to set bolts into the concrete once the holds are drilled...make sure you drill deep for support dod not want it to come down...Good Luck
