I have recently installed a total of 1 1/4" thick plywood subfloor in a bathroom. I am planning on tiling over with 12 x 12 tiles. When I dry lay the tiles some of them can be slightly rocked back and forth a little. My floor is pretty level. It migh even be because the tile is not perfectly flat in some cases. Will a latex based thinset correct the problem and stop the tiles from coming up? Is this common?
