Hello,
I am planning on a new 1/2 bath in my basement. I have several questions that will help in the layout stage. How do you determine how many and what size fixtures for a vent pipe? When are cleanouts required? How far from the fixture is the vent required? Can you vent out the side of the house? What are some good resources on the web and books that are helpful? Any other critical questions that you can think of? I have the article from Family Handyman on plumbing a basement bath.
