Several months ago I had the oak hardwood floors redone in my house. All but one room was done because we thought that room would stay carpeted. They looked so good we decided to redo the last one. Problem was they used a new varnish this time and it is less amber than the original. The new is Deft but the original was Red Devil Semi-gloss Oil-based Polyurethane. The Red Devil product was discontinued and the floor refinisher has just used up the last of his supplies. I'd like to put a coat of Red Devil over the top of the Deft to make it more amber. Problem is no stores that I can find have the product. Does anyone have any remaining supply? I need enough to cover a 15'x10' room. Or any ideas on what varnish would have a more amber hue to it?

Thanks,
Chuck Nelson

You might go to http://www.reddevil.com and email them to see if they can be of help. Should you find the product, will be be compatible with the product that is already on the floor?

You can also go to your favorite search engine and type: Red Devil Polyurethane. You will see the names of lots of vendors of Red Devil products. Perhaps one of them would still have what you need.

Best of luck.

Twelvepole,

Thanks. I have talked to Red Devil. Problem is the product has been discontinued. I'm looking for anyone who might have an old can or 1/2 a can left. I'd certainly be willing to pay for it.

Thanks,
