Bought a treadle sewing machine recently, which had been stored in a garage. Motor oil has spilled onto its top flat surfaces, both where there's still some oak veneer attached and also a large flat surface where the veneer is gone.

Does anyone have any suggestions about how to get the oil out of the wood?
