HELP! I am moving into a new house and I would love to paint my little boy's room with a faux "leather" look. I've seen it once, but I don't know how to do it.

From vague memory only..Its a deep red base (eggshell)..And then a deeper/darker mahogany scumble glaze brushed over the base and rag rolled "off" to produce this "leather finish".. I did this somewhere on a ceiling in a London public house.(pub)Thus,the memory loss!!
