current deck (P/T wood)is 10x22 and will be increasing to 14x29. Screened area will be 14x22. Plan is to use tongue & groove TREX (recycled plastic) type flooring to avoid splinters/treating/insects from below.

I've never used this type of flooring material before and the salespeople are making pretty lofty claims about the product. Any advice or experiences (pro or con) on using this type of flooring would be helpful.

good idea to staple screen on underside of joists to keep insects out...
also when researching TREX for a hot tub i was advised it cannot span more than 16 inches...or 12 inches for hot tub type loads

Hello
TREX is a good product...but get all the information and belive only what the manufature say they will warranty.
Install to the TREX specifications and you will be very happy when done...Good Luck
