I have a mobile home with wall board that has wallpaper...after attempting to paint one room it came out pretty lousy because the wall paper wouldn't allow the paint to stick...like painting on plastic...we cant remove the paper because it is like putting a sticker on cardboard..it just peels off layers of wall board..any ideas how to solve the painting problem? We have tried an undercoat of an adhesive to help the paint stick but even it wont adhere to the wallpaper. should we peel away the paper then even the walls with a putty and paint?
