I bought some parquet (12 in sq) from Home Depot. The instructions say to use a primer on the subfloor. Do I need to do this or is this for concrete? Also, someone told me they used Liquid Nail to glue their parquet down. Is liquid nail ok to use? tahnks Deane

Following flooring manufacturer's installation instructions is always best. Go to http://www.doityourself.com/woodfloors and click on the related articles for parquet installation. This is an excellent article and should answer all your questions re: floor prep, layout, adhesive, laying the tiles, rolling the floor, and a tools and materials checklist.
