Greetings all,

I cant beieive how dificult it has been to find a reputable handyman or builder to assist me in building a small wooden deck out side my condo in the courtyard area. I have called ads in the shopper and even tried service magic.com. No Luck! I am looking to hire someone to do what i think is a pretty easy side job approximatley 65 SQ ft. I am also interesting in doing some of the work myself. Anybody interested in the Rancho Santa Margarita area please email me back. Thanks...

The summer is Prime Time for contractors and handymen
I am a contractor and even have a hard time getting extra help these months. Everyone is busy, including me!
You might ask friends and neighbours,if they can refer someone. Another trick is to track down a carpenter on a
local project somewhere near your condo. Find a project, like a 'new house' or a 'remodel',that has a handful of 'workers'. Find out who might be interested in a 'side-job' for cash. A sixty square foot deck sounds like a weekend project. Someone will bite I'm sure. If there's a site supervisor, they might even be helpful, as long as they dont think that you are trying to'steal'employees !
good luck,
