I forgot to ask this detail.
The OSB and the plywood in Home Depot is very intriguing.
The OSB they have on Sale has a big sign that says 1/2 inch OSB but they have a little note that says 7/16. It is actually 7/16 is this 1/16 crucial. Also If i buy 1 inch nails they will touch the vapor barrier. Suggestions?
The 3/4 plywood is the same it ha a note that says 23/32.
Are these products still OK for the harwood floor installation?

P:
The material you're looking at is not thick enough for a succesful naildown application. Go with the 3/4" plywood and use a 1 1/2" power cleat or staple for the solid hardwood installation.
There are some useful installation sites out there you should check into. Bruce has a darned good one at this link. http://bruce.com/resbrucewoodna/installation_tips_solid.jsp
Another one is http://www.nofma.org.
Good Luck:)
