If the crack isn't in too flexible an area of the tub, you may be able to seal it with appliance touch-up repair liquid.
It is made to repair chips on white enamel appliances, and drys hard as a rock.
Clean and dry (I use a hairdryer for this) the crack well.
Apply the touch-up liquid with the little cap brush that comes with it (like nail polish), and smooth up the edges with a Q-tip dipped in acetone (nail polish remover).
Allow to dry overnight. Apply a second coat, if necessary.
You should be able to easily find appliance touch-up liquid in appliance or hardware stores.
Good Luck! Mike
