I have black ABS pipe that is visible in a basement bathroom and I want to paint it WHITE. What should be done and what materials should be used for:
1. Preparation - ABS is a glossy pipe and may need
cleaning?
2. What is the best Primer to use?
3. What kind of White Paint to use?
4. Anything else that should be done?

Your advice would be appreciated

We finally purchased a new range replacing that ugly 20+ year old drop in one. But, now I have these unsightly damaged places in the countertop on either side of the range. Is there something I can do to cover or repair the damaged places in my countertop? any ideas out there?
