I'm getting near the end of my bathroom remodel. The ceramic tile has been ordered, but it'll be a few more weeks before it's here. In the meantime, I would like to install my tub. But someone told me I should put a row or two of tile down first under the tub, so I should wait for the floor to be done before installing the tub. Is this true? What's a good reason to wait to put in the tub?
Thanks.
Thanks.

I am sure there are exceptions, but most folks I know have tubs installed before tile. Most preformed tubs/showers are installed during the framing process on new construction. Floor coverings are usually among the last of the projects that get done on new construction or remodel. Best regards.
