I have some nasty blue tile in several bathrooms in my rental units. The tile is in good shape, but the colors are not splendid. I recently saw a bathroom that had some sort of white glaze sprayed over the old tile, and it looked great! How was this done? Who does it? Can I do it myself? Does it hold up? Pros / cons?

These are the same people who refinish bath tubs. I don't think it's a good idea on shower tiles. Won't really hold up.

Besides that, blue is better than yellow or green. :D

John, thanks for the reply. Your response allowed me to search goole with a different phrase "bath tub refinish", that did the trick...there are several places which sell these do it youself kits for bathroom tile reglazing...when I searched for tile reglazing, I got nada..it looks very very cool. Makes old, mildewy tile w/ dirty grout and outdated colors..look brand spanking new..I am excited to begin!
