I know that wall tile should not be used on the floor. BUT I have a few 4x4 decorative wall tiles left over from a backsplash project that I would like to mix in with floor tiles in a kitchen/dining area IF POSSIBLE.
Just curious if this idea is totally out of the question or what is recommended if I could use these left over tiles on the floor.
Thanks, Linda

Hi Linda,
I wouldn't do it. You would really be taking a step backward. Modern floor tiles are ten time harder and more durable than wall tiles. You can find some excellent floor tile inserts if you look around. Use the wall tiles for coasters. Put felt on the backs.
