I am about to remove the flooring in a bathroom, 1/2" plywood, laid over a wood subfloor. Should i go back with a plywood floor and if so how should i keep it from getting water damage again? Have not yet decided on a floor covering, had carpet on it.

Well, this is a tile board, so put down some cement backer board and use ceramic. Best bathroom floor ever.
