Just put in new window coverings and took down the old wood framing that used to hold up the blinds. The paint underneath is a different color so I have to touch up. The only problem I see is that ther is a paint build up forming lines all around the window frame of built up paint. I tried to sand it down, but it is too rubbery and would not sand. How do I "scrape" that down? If I paint ocer it I know that lines is going to show. Help. Thanks

M W, Get the highest buildups off with putty knife or whatever. Best bet would be to patch the area a couple times and sand with 100 grit drywall paper to blend. If using eggshell, satin or semi-gloss paint do spot prime the patch with flat latex primer or at least flat latex paint or it will show. I know this makes a larger spot to deal with but is the only way I know to do it.....Mike
