Like ELM, I am painting bedroom furniture and am getting brushstrokes in the paint. I bought a high quality brush and applyed the paint with as few strokes as possible, and am still getting marks in the paint. Any other suggestions? I am using a latex gloss white paint.

Thin the paint slightly. This will give it more chance to 'flow out' and remove the bursh marks before it sets up.
