OK. I JUST HAD A THREE SEASON ROOM ADDED TO THE BACK OF MY HOUSE. THEY REMOVED THE VYNAL SIDIND ON THE INSIDE WALL OF THE ROOM LEAVING THE OLD WOOD SIDING EXPOSED. WE ARE GOING TO DRYWALL IT BUT HAVE TWO QUESTIONS BEFORE WE BEGIN. FIRST, THERE ARE TWO WINDOWS AND A SLIDING GLASS DOOR ALREADY IN PLACE, I FEEL THE HANGING THE SHEETS HORIZANTILLY WILL BE EASIER FOR CUTS AROUND THE WINDOWS AND DOORS. THE CEILING IS 9+ FEET HIGH. WHAT DO YOU THINK?
ALSO, IS IT NESCESSARY TO INSULATE IT SINCE IT IS GOING OVER THE EXTERIOR SIDING?
THANK YOU

Hi Jim,as far as hanging the drywall horiz.thats fine, thats the way i install all the drywall i do.As for insulating the wall before you hang the drywall, that wall should already be insulated.I would just put up a vapor barrier before i hang the drywall.
Good Luck
