I am currently trying to paint a room which has wall-to-wall carpeting. I tried to tape the carpeting so that I could paint the baseboards without ruining the carpet, but it does not seem to be working.
Does anyone have any tips for how to paint my baseboard without getting paint all over the carpeting?
Thanks!!

TIMO,
Check at your local paint store for an edging shield. They're about 15" long and concave. You just lay it up against the baseboard and hold down the carpet while you paint. The only problem is when you lift it up the carpet usually pops up and touches your paint. Oh Well.

Thanks for the tip. My husband suggested smoething similar that seems to be working - I have used my putty blade to run a tarp UNDER the baseboard, protecting my carpet while I paint.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.
