Recently toured my neighbors home and noticed the texture on his ceiling and walls. Looked like mud was applied with a trowel and left to dry, then painted. Wasn't more than 1/32 thick with many craters in it. He didn't know what is was called but said it was basically a guy on stilts who spread it on and let it dry as is.
Anybody have more info on this procedure ? What's it called ? How to do it ? Is it do it yourself material ?
Thanx in advance for any input .

Hello,
Probably he was skip trowling. This is a little tricky for the amatuer to try. You can check out mud-dobber.com for a simpler method.
Good luck
