I need to do some light detail work and one of the projects involves cutting angles in 4.75" x 1" oak boards.
None of the miter boxes I've seen are wide or tall enough for this.
Has anyone ever seen or used a "Miter Board"?
It attaches to a work bench, then you attach your circular saw to it. By tilting the saw and using the guides on the board, you can cut a full range of angles with little restriction on board width, length or height. I cannot afford any large power tools so I was thinking the miter board would be best.
Any other ideas?
Thanks
Dwight

Think about renting a Compound Miter Saw from somewhere like Home Depot. You may find other places that rent such tools if you do not have a Home Depot near.
