Anyone have great ideas on how to make our ceilings look great after removing 'popcorn/cottage cheese' from ceiling? We have applied two layers of primer, but you can still see where the builder pounded nails into the drywall -- it won't look great even after we put final layer of paint on. Are thinking of retexturing the ceiling -- anyone know of something that I can easily do on my own?

sbk, Try this site Mud Dobber (http://www.mud-dobber.com/) This is one of the best tools for first time use. Also, if its just the nail indentions that look bad it may be easier to fill them and leave the ceiling slick....Mike
