We have taken off the old popcorn ceiling by wetting it down and the scraping it off. Now I need to know about putting a swril effect on the drywall of the ceiling can you help with this or give me some Ideas about where to go. Thanks

One way to swirl a ceiling is with a brush or broom on wet compound.

Hello
First you need to bring the old ceiling back to a smooth finished sheetrock ceiling then you can do the finish you want and as the Old Guy said a broom, old brush or rage play until you find what you like and have fun doing it....Good Luck
