The previous residents of my house installed wire mesh with cement over it to the walls in a room to make them look like stone. What would be the easiest way to remove this? The cement chips off with a chisel, but how do I cut the wire mesh from the walls? Also, is there an easier way than chipping the cement off by hand and then dealing with the wire mesh?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Sounds similar to a plaster wall situation.
Those are usually demolished with sledge hammers and pry bars.
Try that.
Good luck!
