Hi,

I was prepping my exterior to be painted by caulking cracks between the siding when I realized this afternoon I used the non-paintable caulk.

What is the easiset way to remove the caulk?

Thanks

denverlynx, Well you've really done it now! We made this mistake a few years back and I assure you it won't happen again. The best way out of this problem the way I see it is to find the best siliconized latex paintable caukling and go over the silicone. White Lightning, DAP or Sherwin-Williams all have suitable products. In this case I wouldn't trust anything else. Whatever method you use to solve this problem please do share your results with the forum...Best of Luck...Mike
