hi
lawn mower starting, but then... stops after few seconds. do it again same thing, hard to explain to my neighbor, who is mad at my lawn condition.

you need three things to make a moter fun...other than the the moter......gas....spark....and air....and you need them in the right amount at the right time...if it started you have them all...but one are more are in short suply...check air first is the filter clean? hope it has one if not the carberater could be full of junk....now the gas...is it a 2 or 4 sycle engine check from inside tank to inside carbureter and the gas cap...it need to let air in so gas can go to engine....spark just change the plug even if it did start you never know...Good Luck and do check the small engine forum but I just wanted to get my $.02 in just for fun...and Good Luck again.....
